Aerospace Machined Parts Deburr/Hand Finisher

This is not a contract or short-term assignment. We are looking for people that want long-term employment with a reputable company. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Deburr Technician/ Hand Finisher in our Aerospace CNC machine shop.
You need to be detailed oriented, highly organized, creative, flexible and a great team player. All Aerospace Deburr, Hand Finishers with a minimum of two years’ experience are encouraged to apply.
We manufacture machined products using space-age alloys on the latest equipment. You can learn more once you apply. We have multiple openings for both 1st and 2nd Shift.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deburring, cleaning and removing sharp edges and chamfering parts by using manual and automatic power tools and hand tools.
• Polishing acrylic and/or metal components to provide a quality finish that surpasses our customers’ expectations
• Work close with machinists and the QC department to improve part quality
• Uses problem solving skills in trying new techniques to deburr/clean/polish otherwise inaccessible areas
• Self-inspect work and strive for consistent quality within same-part work orders and between similar parts and materials
• Good vision and good hand-eye coordination is important in this function
• Maintain clean working environment
• Identify and notify our Quality team of potential defects or non-conforming material • May occasionally perform special projects; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and able to be productive with minimal supervision
• Minimum 2+ years of hand finishing experience (aerospace preferred)
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Reliable transportation

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• deburr: 2 years (Preferred)
• Hand finishing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Aerospace Industry: 2 years (Preferred)
• Machine shop: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:
