Aerial Drop Laborer

Vero was founded in Colorado in 2022 to build fiber networks for underserved schools. Since that time, we have grown to serve over 50 school districts throughout the US and have expanded our focus to serve the broader community including both residential and business customers.  We now have multiple fiber networks supporting communities across Colorado and we are making plans for more in 2023.    

At this time we are looking to add an Aerial Drop Laborer to our exciting team!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to take and understand direction given from Aerial Foreman and other supervisors
• Operate Bucket truck, Man boom, 26' Extension ladders, and other equipment as necessary (Will Train but, experience is a plus)
• Operate and maintain various power, hand, pneumatic tools
• Ability and knowledge to give clear directions when backing up a trailer 
• Maintain good working condition of equipment
• Open availability for Emergency outages required
• Ability to work outside in the elements. Heat and Cold required
• Ability to travel for multiple days at a time
• Problem Solving
• Recognize and understand overhead utility dangers

Qualifications:

• Clean Driving Record
• CDL is a plus but not required
• Previous Construction Experience
• Strong communication skills
• Computer skills a plus
• Willingness to Travel. Lodging and Per Diem is provided
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Good work attitude. Someone who is a team player and can exceed expectations. Willing to prove what they can do
