Job Summary

You will be responsible for developing, servicing, and maintaining a base of advertising clients and/or agencies who purchase advertising space or other media services to achieve established annual sales goals within your assigned sales team. You will represent Effectv's Audience Delivery Platform to target advertisers' audiences across Linear TV, Streaming, and Video On Demand in both zone and full market/interconnect buying to allow regional advertisers the opportunity to reach customers in their retail trading areas. You will work with moderate guidance in your own sales territory to drive desired results and revenue attainment, with focus on expanding your book of business. The sales office is in Tacoma, WA with expectations to visit your territory multiple times per week to prospect and maintain client relationships.

  • Consistently prospects for new revenue-generating partnerships using client and category insights.
  • Develop winning partnerships by creating custom data-driven, audience-targeted campaigns utilizing Effectv's multiple media platforms spanning Linear TV, Streaming (OTT/CTV/VOD), and Live Sports
  • Seek opportunities to expand relationships with key clients by taking an active role in understanding their business needs, competitive landscape, and desired business outcomes.
  • Possesses strong written and verbal skills to obtain new meetings and grows strategic relationships, with a focus on articulating our ability to deliver on client needs.
  • Make decisions and solve problems independently to support customer needs and revenue growth.
  • Utilize data, analytics, and attribution to understand key trends and results to optimize your clients' marketing dollars across our video advertising platforms.
  • Be coachable and able to evolve with shifting product offerings and marketplace conditions.
  • Possesses 2-5 years, minimally, of B2B sales experience. Advertising sales is preferential.
  • Interacts with various internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising; monitor account activities and monitor and manage collections.
  • Maintains up-to-date customer and prospect records and participate in development of sales forecasts.
  • Completes required documentation and reporting for the proper processing of contracts, advertising schedules, sales calls and expense reports.
  • Analyzes confidential information, prepares reports, manuals, agendas, and general correspondence.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation Targets:

The range for this position is generally between $52-62K in annual base pay and the commission target is $39k and a total compensation target of $100K

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $24,150.00 - $50,025.00

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.

Targeted Commission: $37,944

Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
