Adventureland Park - Palace Line Cook

The Palace Kitchen Cook (seasonal position) will be assigned oversight of the Palace Kitchen. This position will be involved in cold and hot food preparation for Doc and Leone's, the Commissary, picnics, and as necessary for other areas of the park.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepares workstations with supplies, foods, and condiments
• Prepares proper quantities of food according to department standards and guest needs
• Follows recipes and procedures to prepare food
• Maintains service and hygienic practices
• Cooking utilizing ovens, fryers, broilers, griddles, mixers, and knives (age restrictions apply)
• Pre-portioning or individually packaging sauces, sandwiches, salads, and other items
• Operating a point-of-sale system
• Accurate handling of food related tickets, coupons, gift cards and fun money
• Reports hygienic or maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Properly handles, labels, stocks, and stores products including chemicals and cleaning supplies (age restrictions apply)
• Protects guest belongings; turns in lost and found items immediately
• Cooperates with other departments to provide a positive guest experience
• Promptly notifies the security team or the manager of team member and guest injuries or emergencies
• Completes additional duties as assigned
