Form of workWe are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Myrtle Beach, SC. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing face to face consultations and education to patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide face to face consultations to patients
- Provide education to patients on their health conditions and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Education:
a. Master’s Degree in nursing from a school accredited by a nursing accrediting association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
OR
b. Master’s Degree in nursing and completed a post-master’s program that focuses on an Advanced Practice nursing specialty from a school accredited by a nursing accrediting association recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Experience:
a. Minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
b. Must have an understanding of hospice program of care.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:
a. Registered Nurse licensed in the State of South Carolina.
b. Currently certified as a Nurse Practitioner by a national certifying agency that is accredited by the American Board of Nursing Specialties and/or the National Commission for Certifying Agencies per the State of South Carolina's Board of Nursing.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with South Carolina requirements.
