Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Flemington NJ (New Health Care Company)

The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Provides engineering leadership to the assigned areas of the Flemington, NJ manufacturing plant - establishes a network of resources and contacts to meet business goals and customer needs
- Leads projects and programs to improve safety, environmental performance, quality, productivity, and overall operational efficiency of the equipment often using Lean Principles and Six Sigma Tools
- Supports Capital Investment, New Product Introduction and New Technology Introductions to increase manufacturing capabilities
- Efficiently troubleshoots defects and variation, performing root cause analysis and applying systemic problem-solving skills and robust solutions
- Proactively communicates at all levels of the organization to drive direction and positive change
- Supports a dynamic 24x5 operation through a willingness to be on-call
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university
- (1) year of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related Engineering field from an accredited university
- Three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment
- Excellent mechanical and/or machine automation aptitude and problem-solving skills; practical and hands-on, with analytical comprehension and data driven decision making
- Experience applying statistical tools and completing data analysis (e.g. SPC, MiniTab, Excel) in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a Medical Device regulated manufacturing environment

The expected compensation range for this position is $93,033 - $113,708, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
