Form of workBon Secours Mercy Health is currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner to work fulltime with The Cardiology Team in Advance Heart Failure in Richmond, Virginia. This is a new growth opportunity to work with Advanced Heart Failure patients. The ideal candidate will see ADF and LVAD patients in both clinic and the hospital. Experience required as an NP in cardiology and acute care setting. This is a unique opportunity to work in a subspecialty practice, to follow patients in hospital and the clinic. Practitioner will be able to collaborate with transplant centers and see patients independently.
Job Details:
Fulltime – Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm
Call Schedule – 1 and 4 (weeknights and 1.4 weekends) Monday – Friday after hour calls from hospital and outpatient Saturday & Sunday, independent rounding in hospital, after hours calls from hospital and outpatient, LVAD calls to cover after hours LVAD procedures.
Hospital Credentialing: Saint Mary’s Hospital, Memorial Regional Medical Center, and Saint Francis Medical Center.
Average Patients per day: 10 all adult & geriatric
Equipment Involved: LVAD and EKG.
EMR: EPIC inpatient and outpatient, Virtual visits with Doxy.me and Mychart.
Mentorship Available: MD’s and medical director with experienced APCs in practice.
