Job Description
Trainees will assist and train in the inspection and service of sprinkler systems, fire alarms, and fire suppression systems. You will be expected to pass the State certification exams and prove proficiency within established timeframes.
Minimum Job Requirements
The first 90 days of employment will be an introductory training period, after which you will be assessed on your performance / progress.
- Mechanical & Electrical knowledge, aptitude, and interest
- Ability to lift heavy items throughout the day
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years mechanical or electrical experience or technical training
- Valid Drivers License with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
- Successfully passing a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Compensation
Compensation for trainees without prior experience ranges from $40,000 - $55,000 in the first year with the opportunity to earn $60,000-$80,000+ in subsequent years.
