What You'll Do:
Responsible for monitoring, diagnostics, and ensuring that all office systems are properly configured for maximum efficiency and uptime. Must work diligently and accurately and possess great problem-solving abilities to fix issues and ensure functionality.
- Assists the system administrator in installing, rolling, and training new Computer & Network systems.
- Performs routine maintenance and updates to computer & network systems.
- Provides technical support and troubleshoot problems on local area networks (LAN) and data networks using Microsoft operating systems.
- Performs some programming and may be responsible for script writing.
- Helps build and maintain IT knowledge base with thorough documentation of issue resolution.
- Assists with testing and deploying new internal software releases.
- Consults with senior peers on specific projects.
- Displays moderate skills with a high level of proficiency.
What You Need For This Job:
- Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university; or two-three years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must reside in or near Anchorage, Alaska.
- Have general knowledge of EMR software, Database software; Sage Accounting software; Adobe Design software; Brower Internet software; Microsoft 365; Azure; VMWare; VEEAM; 3CX; Firewall Configuration; Windows Server.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operations and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to regularly stand, walk, use hands, or feel and talk and hear. Ability to occasionally sit, reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; crouch, or crawl.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
