Job Description Altria's Advanced Analytics function is currently seeking an Apprentice Analyst to join the Development and Support teams. In this role you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future and influence our industry in our ever-changing landscape. During our apprenticeship program, you'll experience on-the-job training, access to a diverse group of mentors, and professional development opportunities. - Support day-to-day data validation enhancement to existing models and report any errors
- Support the development and maintenance of a centralized internal incident catalog as well as incident tracking and publishing
Skillsets
- Experience or interest in learning Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience or interest in learning at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, Python, R, etc.)
- Academic experience in a quantitative field of study (e.g., Decisions Science, Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field)
- Attention to detail and process-oriented acumen
- A sense of curiosity to learn existing model process
- Has a willingness to receive feedback and work with a team
