Description
Working with the Adults Ministry Team, the Adults Pastors provide opportunities for adults to connect, grow, and serve at CTK. This pastor will focus specifically on men's ministry and groups in addition to working on all-Adults initiatives.
- Men's Ministries
- Create opportunities for men at CTK to connect, grow, and serve each quarter
- Identify, recruit, train, and deploy volunteers to serve as a leadership team for men's ministry
- Provide continued oversight for key volunteers and leaders for men's ministries
- Help Adults Lead Pastor to create and maintain a budget for ministry to men at CTK
- Groups
- Identify, recruit, train, and deploy individuals and couples as small group leaders
- Provide continued support and development for small group leaders as they serve
- Work with the Adult Ministry Team to create vision and strategy for groups at CTK
- Serve as part of the CTK Bellingham pastoral team
- Perform all Pastoral duties (Pastor On Call, Commons duties, Sacerdotal duties)
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor or the Network Executive Team
Requirements
- Owns and can articulate the mission and values of CTK
- Excellent at identifying, recruiting, training, deploying, and supporting volunteers
- Experienced in coaching small group leaders and understands group dynamics
- Engaging verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated people-smarts and emotional intelligence
- Strong leadership and strategic vision
- Understanding in current trends in discipleship
- Pastoral care and volunteer leadership experience
- Good listening and communication skills; providing feedback, de-escalating conflict, team collaboration
