- Interpersonal skills: These skills assist employees in building relationships and interacting with each other. Interpersonal skills include communicating verbally and reading nonverbal cues like facial expressions and body language and responding accordingly.
- Verbal communication skills: Crew Members often receive on-the-job training that requires them to follow guidance and verbal instructions from other employees and supervisors. They need to be able to clearly communicate with coworkers and customers while actively listening when someone else is speaking to them.
- Written communication skills: Crew Members need to follow written recipes and food preparation instructions in addition to written policies on security, sanitization and safety required to maintain a healthy and safe environment.
