Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota has served the southern Minnesota regional area’s mental health needs as a community-based agency since 1997. Our highly skilled, passionate, and caring professionals provide psychotherapy, psychological assessment, rehabilitative skills for adults and children, and clinical consultation to community entities.
CSSM is looking to grow our therapy team and is accepting applications from qualified candidates. Qualified candidates will hold a Master’s degree in a behavioral health science field (social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy) and on licensure track towards LPCC, LICSW, LFMT or independently licensed as a LPCC, LICSW, or LMFT.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic assessment
- Functional assessment
- Level of care assessment
- Individual treatment plan (ITP)
- Services delivery
- Reassessment
- Documentation of service provision and collateral contacts
- Coordination of care with client’s care team
- Participate in individual supervision and therapy program meetings
- Complete ongoing continuing education
- Maintain consistent scheduling with clients across CSSM’s service area

Preferred Qualifications:
- Passionate about assisting adults with mental illness improve their capacity for independent living and improving their quality of life
- Experience providing service to individuals with mental illness; familiar with mental illness
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to be a self-starter
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
