Job Description: Gallant Therapy Services (GTS) is seeking a friendly and energetic individual who will be responsible for assisting and fostering independence in Adults who have varying developmental and intellectual disabilities.

GTS uses a client centered, strengths based approach with meaningful activities and skilled, trauma informed staff to help clients to maximize their independence and live their lives to the fullest.
A Day in the Life of a Direct Support Professional: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Gallant Therapy Services you are responsible for assisting and fostering independence in Adults who have varying developmental and intellectual disabilities. Our staff spend their shift in the community supporting our Adults in the skills needed to live their lives to the fullest.
Qualifications to be a Direct Support Professional:
- Must have a valid Maine Driver's License
- Must have an insured, inspected, registered and reliable vehicle (we transport the individuals we serve using our own vehicles)
- Must be able to pass all required background checks
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
