Can you image the rewarding feeling of the judge’s gavel proclaiming that a permanent match has been made between a child and family? Do you have what it takes to lead a team of Fee for Service workers in writing time sensitive documents for that judge to make a determination in creating those matches?

You will need to:

· Provide leadership, clinical insight, and administrative direction to contract workers (Fee for Service) in compliance with all standards and contract requirements that support the permanency plans of children, youth and families.

· Hold a caseload regarding case management, assessments and placements of children and youth experiencing foster care, the recruitment, licensing and evaluation of foster parents in preparation to adopt, and in the review of family functionality through court reports and assessments.

· Use a strength-based, permanency focused, collaborative approach to maximize the well-being of those served.

This position requires:

· Exceptional writing, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

· Ability to build strong rapport with DCF Staff, program leaders, children/youth and families.

· Ability to work independently and work as part of a team

Qualification Requirements:

Education:Bachelor’s Degree in related field; Master’s Degree preferred

Experience: Minimum 2 years work with children and families. Supervisory experience and experience in adoption preferred.
