Job description

We are looking for sales engineers for our Adoption Engineering team who are smart, creative, hardworking and possess an unwavering desire to be the best. BigPanda's AIOps platform allows enterprises to detect, investigate and resolve incidents and outages in fast-moving IT operations environments. As part of the Adoption Engineering team, you will be responsible for growing revenue and protecting renewals by maximizing value for existing BigPanda customers through increased adoption.
Expectations of BigPanda Adoption Engineers

  • Performing health checks of BigPanda usage for customers
  • Aligning on areas of improvement within the platform to help accounts increase the value they get from BigPanda
  • Providing guidance and building action plans for customers on how to get more value through better adoption
  • Aligning customers to resources which will help them achieve their goals including documentation, BigPanda University, Instructor Led Training and educating on our published support process.
  • Finding new opportunities within accounts to get wider and to cross sell to other business units.
  • Working with account teams to identify and position additional offerings where appropriate
  • Building and maintaining relationships within accounts
  • Maintaining a defined cadence of touch points with each customer
  • Assisting the account team in building and delivering Customer QBRs

What We Expect From You:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education and experience as a sales engineer selling either monitoring, DevOps, event management or ITSM solutions to large scale IT organizations.
  • Hands-on experience delivering use case driven POV/POCs.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience writing code in modern programming or scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, NodeJS, Regex, Java or C++.
  • Must have practical experience with RESTful APIs, Windows/Linux command line and SQL.
  • Must have practical experience with modern monitoring solutions, incident management tools and IT operations and processes.
  • Must have high emotional intelligence (high EQ).
  • Must be a self-starter and possess the ability to work autonomously.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and social skills and operate as a thought leader.
  • Should have a working knowledge of AWS platform and have practical experience with services such as API endpoints, lambda functions and redshift.
  • Should be familiar with machine learning and data science concepts and have a broad knowledge of the AIOps marketplace.
  • Should be comfortable with up to 30% travel.
  • Should be open-minded, possess a fun attitude and be comfortable with adapting to changes as needed to achieve the team's mission.

Great to have:
  • Hands on experience administrating or using BigPanda
  • Experience working in or building NOC/Operations team
  • Experience implementing observability strategies and tools
  • Practical experience using value selling frameworks such as MEDDPIC and Command of the Message.

Market competitive salary with an anticipated OTE compensation range of $190k - $200k. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
