Mental Health Counselor

Location: Buffalo Grove, IL | Teen & Young Adult Outpatient Treatment Center

Schedule:Full Time | Monday to Friday | 3 Evenings Per Week - No Weekends

About the Role

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will provide evidence-based treatment and care for adolescents struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will oversee a designated case load of clients, conduct group and individual therapy sessions, and monitor and manage their treatment plans and progress.

Who You Are

  • You are a licensed or provisionally licensed clinician (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LSW, ALMFT)
  • You have previous experience in substance abuse treatment.
  • You have strong clinical skills in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and documentation.
  • You are passionate about working with adolescents and have a genuine interest in their development and recovery.
  • You have experience with a treatment facility in a detox or residential setting (Preferred but not required)

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • $60,000-$74,000 Annual Salary
