Job Function:
The Admitting Interviewer must have excellent organizational and follow-up skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent problem-solving skills; ability to organize and prioritize work assignments,
The Admitting Interview must register appointments for 6 full time Physicians and 1 full time Gyn/Onc; must manage all new patient referrals and ensure patient insurance information is accurate and all medical documentation has been reviewed prior to patients appointments,
The admitting Interviewer must work effectively with the medical, clerical and nursing staff,
Must establish and maintain effective working relationships within department; must be proficient in computer applications including data entry and e-mail
Qualifications:
- Must possess good organization skills
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
