Responsibilities:
- Responsible for greeting patients when they arrive at the medical facility and helping them complete the necessary paperwork for their visit. They also answer patient questions and provide general information about the facility and its services.
- Maintain records of patient admissions
- Answer telephone enquiries and direct them appropriately
- Gather and verify patient information
- Schedule patient admissions
- Explain hospital policies and procedures
- Provide general administrative support
- Create patient files
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- At least 1 year of experience preferred
As Needed (Mostly 2nd Shift and weekends)
