The Admissions Ticket Processor ensures that all guests entering the grounds have a valid ticket or credentials. This is a seasonal/temporary position.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process admission tickets or credentials from guests and scan barcode
- Ensure all tickets or credentials are valid for entry
- Provides excellent customer service to Fair guests by answering questions, providing information, and guiding guests
- Stamp the hands of guests who request re-entry
- Other duties as assigned

- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must have organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be familiar with different types of tickets
- Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure
- Must be flexible, proactive, detail oriented, and motivated
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Must be able to deal professionally and effectively with all types of people
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
- Must have reliable private transportation
- Must be able to work overtime, when asked
- Will be required to wear a company-provided uniform
- Must wear a company-issued badge and use said badge in conjunction with our electronic timekeeping system
- Must be able to move around the grounds and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work every day of the L.A. County Fair
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
