Admissions Ticket Processor

The Admissions Ticket Processor ensures that all guests entering the grounds have a valid ticket or credentials. This is a seasonal/temporary position.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process admission tickets or credentials from guests and scan barcode
• Ensure all tickets or credentials are valid for entry
• Provides excellent customer service to Fair guests by answering questions, providing information, and guiding guests
• Stamp the hands of guests who request re-entry
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Must have organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be familiar with different types of tickets
• Must be able to multi-task and work under pressure
• Must be flexible, proactive, detail oriented, and motivated
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Must be able to deal professionally and effectively with all types of people
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB
• Must have reliable private transportation
• Must be able to work overtime, when asked
• Will be required to wear a company-provided uniform
• Must wear a company-issued badge and use said badge in conjunction with our electronic timekeeping system
• Must be able to move around the grounds and lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Must be able to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, which may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to work every day of the L.A. County Fair
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain
