Job Description

• TSPA Nampa is the Idaho location of The Salon Professional Academy, a nationwide cosmetology school franchise that graduates high-performing students ready to ignite the industry and elevate the profession through successful careers. TSPA Idaho is independently managed by entrepreneurial owners seeking to complete their elite leadership team, with the right Admissions Director. The responsibilities of the Admissions Director are critical to the success of the school and are focused on promoting the Academy's brand, systems and high-quality education to prospective students so they are confident in making the decision to launch their cosmetology career training with The Salon Professional Academy.

Role:

* Meet with prospective students and families, conducting career planning sessions and Academy tours

* Send out information to prospective students

* Respond professionally to email/phone inquiries

* Meet with students during visits at local high schools and colleges

* Meet with Career Counselors during high school visits

* Coordinate and lead career fairs

* Update social media sites to attract prospects

Responsibilities

* Track inquiries and complete reporting to owners

* Schedule appointments with prospective students

* Enter and update student profile information in software tracking system

* Enroll students, compiling class start dates/end dates

* Record tuition payments in student ledger

* Conduct student orientations and all required paperwork

* Update catalog/student handbook/SAP documents when necessary

* Complete student exit interviews prior to graduation

* Follow the Academy policies and procedures

* Attend staff meetings

Qualifications and Skills

Must have three years in sales (not necessarily in admissions)

Outgoing, with a warm, confident personality

Self-motivated, with a can-do attitude

Enthusiastic about helping people

Team player, with a positive outlook

Comfortable with technology and social media

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
