Remote Eligible, Part-Time (20-29 hours per week)

The responsibilities of the Admissions CRM Coordinator are to be established and carried out in accordance with the mission of McMurry University and in support of its current Strategic Plan. The CRM Coordinator is a vital team member who provides the baseline data integrity and management practices for the Admission Office. The CRM Coordinator works closely with the Admission and Information Technology staff to maintain the Slate CRM database, including import and export files to the university SIS and outside vendors, compile departmental reporting, and assist with general Slate operations, including queries, mailings, etc. A successful CRM Coordinator possess strong critical thinking skills, shows great attention to detail, is a successful problem solver, values customer service, and is organized.

Job Duties:

Process and import incoming student information files in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Work with university Information Technology staff to ensure data being sent from the Admission Office to the university SIS is accurately received and stored.
  • Compile data for export from the Admission Office to requested parties.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within systems, including data entry quality control and regular data updates.· Produce and update reports to present data findings to the enrollment management teams.
  • Build queries, forms, and mailings to support recruiting outreach efforts.
  • Assist with annual cycle prep system audit and updates.
  • Ensure the timely execution of Admission Office print communications.
  • Work with Director of Admission Operations to build new features within Slate as the system evolves.
  • Manage rule articulation to automate processes in Slate and increase efficiencies.
  • Troubleshoot Slate technical issues as they arise.
  • Support knowledge of best practices within Slate, specifically focused on data management.
  • Serve as backup for Admission Office coworkers, including application processing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in problem-resolution, organization, and communication.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and use Slate and Jenzabar.
  • High school diploma required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in data systems (CRM, SIS, data warehouse, etc.), with experience in Slate and higher education highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in college admission.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Minimum Required Education:

High School Diploma/GED

Physical Demands:

Be able to stand and sit for long periods of time.
