Job description

Full Time- Monday-Friday 11a-7pm
Primary Function:
Secures pre-admission social and clinical assessment and completes follow-up for all referrals from a select group of referral sources. Perform pre-admission medical screening when appropriate in conjunction with the Program Director.
This position requires providing service to the following age population(s) all ages in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Qualifications
Education/Training/Experience: (indicate if required or preferred)
High school graduate with knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent telephone skills to meet heavy volume. Knowledge of computers and ability to use Word. Excellent hearing for speaking with persons of different dialects. Must be comfortable with disabled persons and the general public. Must possess patience and tact to deal with stressful situations. Will provide support and act as intermediary to clinical liaison staff.
Conditions of Employment
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
