Position:Admissions Coordinator

Department:Student Affairsnbsp;

Pay: $45,000 Annually

Schedule: M - F (Full time, 40 hours per week)

Location: On-siteat the Provo, Utah Campus


1. Incollaboration with the Administrative Director of Admissions and in support ofthe Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, ensures coordination of applicant recruiting activities, files, and communications.nbsp;

  • Processesnbsp;applications:nbsp;ensures that applicantfiles are complete,accurate, and consistently updated.nbsp;
  • Maintains admissions and enrollment data by collecting and tracking applicant information.
  • Maintains student files with letters of recommendation, transcripts, secondary application responses, and any other files related to application and enrollment.nbsp;
  • Providesnbsp;real-time updates to internal stakeholders about applicant status, cohortapplications, and upcomingevents.
  • Maintains communications and updates application status to potential students through mail, email, and phone.
  • nbsp;Assistswith arranging, carrying out, and debriefing events for potential students, inboth physical and virtual formats. Theseevents may include recruitment events (e.g., open houses, multi-COM events, etc.), interview days, and accepted student events.
  • Schedules and carries out visit days/tours, both in physicaland virtual formats.
  • Monitors and communicates withnbsp;applicants and students throughout the application cycle about requirements for secondary applications, interviews, and enrollment.
  • Carriesout daily administrative tasks for the Office of Admissions including answering phones, monitoring emails, maintainingcalendars/meetings for the Admissions team, preparing communications, andproviding other support needed to carry out the integrated student recruitment strategy of Noorda-COM.
nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp; 2. Actively engagesnbsp;in the advancement of the College.nbsp; nbsp; nbsp;

·nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Contributesto the College’s compliance with and in the development of required documentation as related to accreditation of all programsto which departmental content is contributed. (Faculty adequacy model, self-assessment, peer review, providing input/feedback, etc.).nbsp;

·nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Contributesto the production of various College materials [strategic planning, directory, College website, etc.] (reviewing drafts, providing input/feedback, etc.)nbsp; nbsp; nbsp;

·nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Isknowledgeable of and remains in compliance with all institutional policies andnbsp; nbsp; nbsp; nbsp;procedures asnbsp;outlined in the EmployeeHandbook for Noorda-COM

3. Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as needed/assigned.nbsp;

nbsp;Qualifications

Education: Baccalaureate in any discipline withfocus on communications, human resources, higher education, or businessmanagement. Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education.

nbsp;Experience: 1-3 years of office administration,communications, or student affairs administration.

nbsp;Skills amp;Abilities: Highlyprofessional with honest, genuine, direct communication style, excellent interpersonalskills, and emotional maturity with the essential ability to demonstrate tact,discretion, and job diplomacy. Prefer experience working in higher educationadmissions/recruiting, office management, or academic advising. Familiaritywith osteopathic medical education is highly preferred.nbsp;

·nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;Innovative, resourceful, detail oriented, with excellent follow-through skills.
