Position Summary
Performs a variety of responsible clerical duties in support of the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) Department. Incumbent maintains files, generates documents, holds briefings and incoming admission telephone calls. The duties listed below illustrate the various types of work that may be performed. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
Undertakes and performs other work-related duties as assigned.
Schedule and conducts Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP) briefing sessions.
Collects and sends out programmatic documentation, collects and reviews received documentation and analyzes for completion prior to receipt by the Admission Specialist.
Assists applicants with completion of forms.
Gathers and prepares paperwork for voucher briefings.
Assists with walk-in traffic for waiting list families.
Assists with mailings as necessary.
Answers telephone in a courteous manner and takes messages, for waiting list inquiries and transfers other calls to staff in the HCV Department, or to voice mail as appropriate as necessary.
Retrieves and responds to waiting list voice mails.
Assists with waiting list purge.
Update INLIVIAN’s software system (Yardi) as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
