** Cover letter required for all positions and optional for facilities, campus services, and hospitality positions unless otherwise specified.Job Description SummaryUnder general supervision, the position is responsible for the accurate and timely entry, verification, filing and management of applications and supporting documents for domestic prospective and enrolling students, in addition to special populations (athletes, transfers). Performs a variety of administrative functions that supports all programs for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. As a member of the Admissions Support team, assists in phone and email traffic, and welcomes visitors to campus.Job Description

Essential Functions:

  • Supports professional staff, counselors, and deans as the point person for records processing questions for all domestic applicants, as well as special populations (athletes, transfers).
  • Coordinates with on-campus partners for effective delivery of application materials and applicable admissions decisions before, during, and after student matriculation.
  • Runs daily queries through the Admissions CRM to audit prospective student data.
  • Updates student application and financial aid records when applicable
  • Releases admissions decisions for specialized populations, as well as performing data audits on all admitted student applicants.
  • Responsible for working with third party partners (Parchment, Scribbles, CFNC) to complete student application records, and makes sensitive updates for financial aid (Powerfaids, Slate Payments, Workday).
  • As a member of the Admissions Support Team, responds to telephone calls, emails, text messages and mailings from the public to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
  • Supports efforts to welcome visitors and check in prospective students and their families for on-campus programming.

Other Functions:

  • Additional data processing tasks, as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D and one to two years of related experience or specialized training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), the internet, and other relevant software.
  • Ability to organize workflow and coordinate activities. Exemplary data entry and record maintenance skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume office environment.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
  • Ability to work occasional weekends as needed.
  • Ability to maintain effective customer relations.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Slate Technolutions, Banner or Workday,

Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for own work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary work primarily involves sitting/standing; communicating with others to exchange information; repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers; and assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
