An Administrative Technician provides administrative support to Managers, Foremen, Supervisors, represented employees and Union officials. Must be able to maintain manual and electronic files, perform general office support functions, answer phones, take messages, mail distribution, input data electronically, fax and photocopying duties, records retention assignments and mail distribution. Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with distractions, have the ability to multi-task and possess good people skills.
This position is within Occupational Health team.
- High School diploma or GED required.
Required:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access.
- Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail with accuracy.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Candidate must be highly motivated with a proven ability to work independently.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team environment.
- Must be capable of working in any type of environment including, but not limited to, offices, warehouses, outside and in manufacturing environments.
Preferred:
- Customer service/administrative experience.
