REM Iowa, now a part of the Sevita family is hiring for an Administrative Office Coordinator!
Do you want to work in a dynamic work environment where no day is ever the same as the next? In this role, your tasks will be diversified and you will be supporting our mission. Support management with administrative duties, including scheduling, travel planning, and routine correspondence.
Tasks performed by our Administrative Office Coordinator!
  • Answering telephones and greeting visitors
  • Maintaining and verifying purchase card receipts and transactions for purchases made with a company credit card
  • Scheduling and assisting with arrangements of meetings and trainings(i.e.: ordering and picking up food or supplies)
  • Project-based work (i.e.: ordering office supplies)
  • Being the "face" of REM Iowa when interacting with community visitors, employees, family, and individuals being supported
  • Submitting monthly invoices to individual, outside representative payees for them to process payment
  • Arranging and possibly taking vehicles in for routine maintenance (oil changes)
  • Establishing and maintaining personnel files with confidentiality

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in a related field preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience in administrative support or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication skills to manage relationships
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
  • A commitment to quality in everything you do
