An Administrative Supervisor is a Registered Nurse who functions within the Nursing Organizational structure and has responsibilities to plan, direct, control, coordinate and implement policies and procedures/and or programs relative to unit operation and nursing services. Responsible for management of assigned unit(s) off tours. Acts as an Administrative liaison between Administrator on-call and the staff related to nursing service problem on assigned weekends, holidays and off tours.
Requirements
- Education Required: Graduate of accredited school of Nursing.
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
Master's degree in Nursing or closely related degree preferred.
- License(s) Required: Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York
State.
- Experience/Skills Minimum of three (3) years experience including one year in a leadership
Required: position. Course in Nursing specialty and supervision. Demonstrated competence as a nursing practitioner. Concern for professional growth and awareness of health care and social trends.
