Admin Asst/Tour Coordinator

Educational Tours & Travel Corporation – founded in 1974 – provides custom group travel for preformed groups. Tours are customized to the destination(s) of each group leader’s choice and typically include air and/or ground transportation, lodging, activities, pre-arranged site visits, and includes meals and gratuities.

What you’ll do:
We are seeking a candidate with excellent computer skills, creative skills, dynamic personality, articulate, hyper-organized, client-service focused individual with demonstrated experience working in detailed-oriented capacities (accounting, copy editing, C-level executive support, etc.) to join our passionate team of travel professionals as an Administrative Assistant. This position also provides operational and logistical support to our clients and requires an efficient and friendly client-facing demeanor.

Duties include, but are not limited to, creating trip brochures and itineraries, securing contracts with suppliers, with customers and clients. Additionally, depending on skills, employee may be involved in digital marketing; website development and maintenance; and general administrative tasks such as mailing and database entry.

What you have (qualifications):
Background and/or working knowledge in customer service, accounting, marketing, and/or sales.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Obsessive attention to detail.
Expert level computer skills (Microsoft Office, database software, online applications, etc.).
Experience with WordPress, website development, and digital marketing a plus

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (including excellent grammar).
Patience, situational awareness, and ability to work with demanding clientele.
Friendly, engaging, and positive attitude.
Great sense of humor and supportive team player.
Ability to manage and meet simultaneous deadlines (effective prioritization and task-juggling).
Desire to work in small business office setting
Travel industry experience a plus.
