Lynntech, Inc seeks a self-directed, highly motivated individual(s) to serve as an Administrative Assistant/Errand Runner.

The successful candidate(s) will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to analyze information, anticipate outcomes, and proactively resolve minor issues. The successful candidate will also be friendly, outgoing, dependable, and professional. The ideal candidate will be customer-service oriented and expected to provide exceptional service to internal and external personnel and entities while representing the company. This temporary full-time position begins in January 2024 and is expected to last until April or May. Lynntech works a 9/80 work schedule, meaning every other Friday is off. Work hours are expected to be between 7:00am and 6:00pm. The pay rate is $17.20, without benefits or paid leave.

In this position, the candidate will facilitate exciting and essential research by providing supplies and support.

A typical day includes:

  • Working in the kitchen area and providing coffee
  • Maintaining/ordering facility supplies
  • Facilitating catered or purchased meals for meetings and subsequent clean-up
  • Traveling to local vendors and picking up requested items
  • Delivery of materials between local work locations
  • Post office visits and deliveries
  • Compiling data into a spreadsheet
  • Reviewing documents for grammar and punctuation
  • Other similar support functions

This is a very active position with many time-critical deadlines. You will be accountable for your own scheduling and driven results to accomplish tasks internal customers request. Medium to heavy lifting of supplies to include cases of copier paper from vendor stock to storage within our facility, should be expected.

Qualifications for this position include:

  • High school diploma or GED, one or more years of experience or training, or equivalent education and experience. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, a working vehicle, and a good driving record.
  • Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Some analytical ability is required to gather and summarize data for reports or input into spreadsheets, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
  • Must have good command of the English language - oral and written.
