Position Details
- Master’s degree in Psychology OR Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Psychology.
- Teaching experience.
- Can teach face-to-face courses.
- Dual credit and online teaching experience.
Detailed knowledge of materials being taught in the specific course and program area;
Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with students, coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction;
Basic computer literacy sufficient to perform job duties;
Knowledge of student engagement techniques, learning styles, retention strategies, and learning-centered philosophy;
Experience with or willingness to learn the latest teaching/learning technologies and online instruction; and
Record keeping procedures.
- Familiar with D2L
- Ability to create original lecture videos/audio for online courses
