Supplements full-time faculty in the supervision of students and facilitation of the curriculum and course objectives. Job DutiesCreates an environment in the classroom, laboratory, and/or clinical settings that facilitates student learning and achievement of desired knowledge, skills, and attitudes.Assists students to develop as nurses and integrate the values and behaviors expected of those who fulfill that role.Implements effective clinical and assessment evaluation strategies appropriate to the learning outcomes of the course.Applies clinical expertise in the health care environment.Operationalizes the curriculum in order to prepare graduates to function effectively in the health care environment.Demonstrates effective interpersonal communication and collaborative inter-professional relationships.Minimum QualificationsDoctorate PhD, EdD, or DNP 3 years teaching in a classroom or clinical setting and5 years relevant and recent clinical experience in a particular nursing specialty Demonstrates integrity, stability, imagination, and discriminative judgment in instruction of nursing students. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking.
