Job description

This announcement will maintain a pool of qualified applicants for Early College Programs (Dual Enrollment) Instructors. Submission of an application and our acceptance thereof does not indicate that there are positions open, and in no way obligates Northwest MS Community College.

Applicants may indicate an interest in part-time positions for Northwest Mississippi Community College through Early College Programs' partnering high schools and/or online courses for the following areas: Art, Biology, Economics, English, History, Math, Music, Physical Science, Political Science, Psychology, Speech, Sociology, and Spanish.

MANDATORY:  A Master's Degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in the specific subject area is required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teaches courses related to subject matter.
  • Prepare, administer, and grade periodic tests, assignments, and/or program assessment data. 
  • Maintain a student attendance record as required by the Mississippi Community College Board. 
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attends adjunct faculty meetings and professional development workshops and training.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Safety Statement
