Position Description:
The Department of Natural, Health, and Mathematical Sciences at MidAmerica Nazarene University (MNU), a faith-based university in Olathe, Kansas, invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Adjunct Instructor of Nutrition. The candidate should have training in a health related field with educational courses in nutrition. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and to Christian education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teach online undergraduate Human Nutrition course
- Consult with students via zoom and/or email
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications/Skills Required:
A successful applicant will share the university's mission of Christ centered transformation, a commitment to excellence and innovation, and possess the following:
- Master's degree or higher that includes training in Human Nutrition
- Bachelor's degree with significant related experience in Human Nutrition
- Excellence in teaching and student supervision
- Excellent communication skills and timeliness
