Chief Objective of Position
The Department of Political Science welcomes applications for an Adjunct Faculty position to teach courses in Political Science.
Job Summary
The successful applicant will become part of the Political Science department adjunct pool and may have opportunities to teach additional courses in this and/or other areas depending on department needs.
Physical Demands
Applicants must be able to teach Face-to-face classes on the Radford University campus.
Required Qualifications
All faculty must have earned at least a Master’s degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching, with 18 credit hours of coursework related to the course(s) being taught.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants able to teach European politics, in addition to other courses.
Education
Adjunct faculty must hold an advanced degree or equivalent credentials based on experience consistent with accreditation criteria of the discipline and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools ( SACS ). All faculty must have earned at least a Master’s degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching, with 18 credit hours of coursework related to the course(s) being taught.
