The Dental Health Department is looking for dynamic, skilled and motivated individuals to join our team. Dental HealthAdjunct Faculty demonstrate competence in clinical skills, lecture and lab instruction and responsibilities consistent with the mission and philosophy of the Dental Health Programs and the College.
- Preclinical, clinical, laboratory and didactic teaching, dental hygiene
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative approach to working with students and colleagues.
- Demonstrate commitment to providing academic support to students and provide remediation as needed
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, required.
- Minimum of 4 years of clinical dental hygiene experience is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience is required.
- Previous teaching experience at a CODA accredited institution, preferred
- Current Rhode Island dental/dental hygiene license and permit to administer local anesthesia is required to teach at CCRI, candidates that are eligible for licensure will be considered
- Current certification in CPR at the Health care Provider level required
