SalaryOak Point University invites applications for ADJUNCT FACULTY positions in the College of Nursing. The university, located in Chicago, IL, focuses on professional health care careers. Founded in 1914 as West Suburban College of Nursing, the College of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate education that integrates personal and professional growth, compassionate service, and scholarly activities.
Adjunct faculty are contracted by term or semester to teach in the clinical and/or didactic environment. Faculty members whose assignments are to classroom and practicum instruction are collectively responsible with assistance of the Dean or Program Director for curriculum design, planning and implementation, for the development and implementation of specific course offerings in the curriculum.
****We are seeking candidates that are interested in and have experience in OB, Peds, and Mental Health*****
- 1-3 years Professional practice required.
- 1-3 years Academic experience preferred.
- Experience appropriate to the area of responsibility.
- Master’s degree in field of academic instruction with a major in an appropriate area required. Doctoral degree preferred.
- Current unencumbered professional licensure required. Certification in specialty area desired and required in some teaching assignments.
