This Adjunct Faculty member teaches courses in Art Appreciation, Art History and/or studio courses such as Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Photography, and Computer Art.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
- Evaluates and advises students
- Participates in departmental and College affairs
- Develops curricula
- Recruits students
- Serves on committees
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- Master's in Fine Arts degree (MFA) from a regionally accredited institution; or a Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with 18 graduate credit hours in one of the following areas: painting, drawing, sculpture, studio arts, photography
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and assignments, which may include assignments at outreach centers
- Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
Additional Requirements
