The Professional Counselor advises students for academic and career purposes and shall keep well informed in best practices and new developments and technology related to Enrollment Management and Student Success. This position is needed during the summer months and semester breaks.
Essential Job FunctionsAdvising transfer, returning and current students
Counseling students to include educational planning and program selection, academic concerns, academic dismissal, and pre-graduation review.
Referring students with academic concerns and barriers to appropriate academic resources
Minimum requirement is a Master’s degree in counseling from a regionally accredited institution as defined by the U.S. Department of Education. Official transcripts must be sent to human resources at the time of hire.
