Position Title: Adjunct CNA Instructor
Department: Health Sciences
Immediate Supervisor’s Title: Dean of Health Sciences
Position’s Supervised: None
Term of Position: $35/Hourly
Position Description: (primary functions)
Registered Nurse to teach a short-term Nursing Assistant Class annually at night in the fall and spring semesters.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching course content.
- Developing a course calendar.
- Supervising students during clinical rotations.
- Maintaining lab supplies and cleanliness.
- All other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid unencumbered Mississippi RN license with a minimum of two years of nursing experience.
- At least one year in long-term care.
- Experience in teaching adults or supervising nurse aides.
- BSN degree or higher preferred.
