We are seeking an Additive Production Manager to become an integral part of our team! You will be the SME for Additive and 3D print design manufactured products in accordance with company standards.
Responsibilities:
• Walk the floor providing leadership, process audits, and coaching.
• Visible leadership and personal communication.
• Holds people accountable for the process execution of the department
• Balance tactical and strategic responsibilities along with spending time on the shop floor and problem solving
• Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing areas, achieving year-over-year cost reductions, while increasing product quality and customer satisfaction
• Direct the overall assignment of work within respective area to team leaders to ensure attainment of business needs.
• Lead new technology adoption and implementation.
• Foster a safe working environment to ensure compliance with the businesses’ EH&S programs, and proactively address safety issues.
• Create/support Additive builds
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field required.
• Knowledge of 3D printing systems fundamentals and hands on experience with 3D printing systems.
• Proficient understanding of Additive manufacturing build setups
• CAD proficiency, Solidworks experience preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Lean tools, Toyota Production System and methodologies.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, professionalism, accountability, communication, and positive attitude
• Complete work in a timely and accurate manner
• Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Previous experience in design, research, or other related field
