- M-F 8am-4:30pm
- No Weekends
- Position is Primarily Assessments and Staff Coverage for Groups and Individuals

Job Description:
Principle Responsibilities
- Patient/Family Assessment:
- Screen for admission to Addiction Services.
- Participates in comprehensive bio-psycho-social assessment of patient.
- Assesses family dynamics and implications for successful treatment.
- Addresses educational needs of patients and families and assigns appropriate work.
- Facilitate group, individual and family therapy.
- Treatment Planning:
- Referrals to internal and external services.
- Promoting family involvement in treatment.
- Provide appropriate education to patient and family.
- Discharge planning.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Behavioral Sciences required and
- 2 to 5 years Adolescent Only: in treatment program working with adolescents. required
- 0 to 2 years At time of hire must sign a statement attesting to at least 2 years of freedom from a chemical use problem, immediately preceding their hire required
- 0 to 2 years experience in family dynamics and treatment issues with family required
- 0 to 2 years Adolescent Only: 30 hours of adolescent development training required
- 2 to 5 years experience in a treatment program preferred
- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor - MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy required Upon Hire
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 30 Days
