Automotive Technician
Burke Porter an Ascential Technologies Company, the global leader in factory vehicle testing for over 50 years, has expanded its footprint and expertise by launching new ADAS calibration repair facilities nationwide. We are seeking experienced and motivated automotive Technicians to join our fun and dynamic team. As an ADAS Technician, you will be responsible for calibrating and troubleshooting safety systems in vehicles. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and functionality of these safety systems for our customers by utilizing the latest and greatest diagnostic technology and service information for all makes. We are looking for hard-working individuals who thrive working in a team environment. If you have limited experience with ADAS, but love technology. That's okay as you will be mentored by highly trained ADAS A-Technicians to perform vehicle calibrations and other services and then verify that the system functions properly after calibration. Job Type: Full-time
Primary responsibilities (Others may be assigned):
• Performs and documents work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
• Evaluate collision estimates to identify required services
• Perform wheel alignments (all makes and models)
• Complete Dynamic calibrations and other ADAS/Vehicle services
• Following established safety policies and procedures is required
• Safely shuttle vehicles to and from customers to our repair facility
Requirements:
• High school or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years automotive repair experience
• Electrical System, Steering, and Suspension experience preferred
• Experience with Automotive Diagnostic Scan Tools
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions
• Driver's License and Clean Driving Record
• Reliable Transportation (mileage reimbursement if personal vehicle used for work purposes)
• Strong customer service skills, including verbal and written communication
• Ability to operate in a team and individual environment
• Display a commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry
