Samaritan Health Services is seeking a part-time Acute Care Surgeon to join 4 surgeons in Corvallis, Oregon. We are seeking an individual who is dynamic, enthusiastic about trauma and Acute Care surgery, willing to learn new technology, and someone who can provide a positive role model to our resident trainees.

Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center is a 188-bed medical facility located in Corvallis, Oregon, United States. The only hospital in the city, it is a level II trauma center, and serves the Linn, Benton, and Lincoln County area. Our award-winning health system provides exceptional primary care and a range of specialty services throughout the mid-Willamette Valley and Central Oregon coast. The network serves approximately 300,000 residents in Linn, Benton, Lincoln and portions of Polk and Marion counties. Job Specifics

• Part-time employment- Forty-six (46) 24 hr. shifts per year plus thirty-three (33) 10 hr. rounding shifts
• No electives cases
• 20 Bed ICU
• Level 2 Trauma Center
• Rotating schedule to provide 24-hour coverage
• Work with surgical residents and medical students

Job Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• 3-5 years’ surgical experience- Possibility for New Grad Opportunity
• Surgical/Critical Care fellowship required
• ATLS/BCLS Certified
• Eligibility to work in the United States
