LDTI Implementation Actuaries: We are looking for innovative and motivated individuals to join our Finance & Actuarial team, contributing to Valuation, Model Development, and Data Analytics as we embark on our LDTI implementation. Opportunities span the entire spectrum of this journey, encompassing front-end design, prototyping, implementation, validation, and testing of results. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Actuarial Associate (ASA): $106,000 - $130,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Career Actuarial Associate (ASA): $99,000 - $125,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Actuary (FSA): $134,000 - $155,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Sr. Actuary (FSA): $142,000 - $185,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Remote opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Support the LDTI implementation efforts across the end-to-end development cycle as a member of the Model Development, Data Analytics, or Valuation teams.
  • Collaborate with team members, business partners, and business owners to maximize value throughout delivery of the LDTI solutions.
  • Thought leader in designing and implementing modernized, streamlined, and standardized LDTI solutions with leading practices in mind across Data, AXIS models, and Valuation approaches.
  • Support team members with knowledge and experiences through mentoring and training of LDTI concepts.
  • Contribute to LDTI implementation across any number of impacted product lines – including but not limited to UL, IUL, WL, Term, FA, IA, PRT, LTC, IDI, Medicare Supplement, and Supplemental Health products.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries designation (ASA/FSA), showcasing expertise in the field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of product management, industry practices, and risk management, including experience with LDTI implementation across life, annuity, and/or health products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a high level of intellectual curiosity with a proven track record in actuarial data, AXIS model development, or Valuation.
  • Proficiency in statistical interpretation, advanced actuarial assumptions, and accounting practices.
  • A team-oriented mentality with strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
