We are currently seeking anActuarial Internfor the Summer of 2024.

This internship position would be a short-term employment opportunity. The goal of an internship is to apply knowledge acquired in the classroom to real-world situations, as well as gain the skills and experience necessary to prepare the student for a successful career.

Duties include:

• Running existing reports
• Assisting with experience studies
• Building business monitoring systems for new products

We work with life and health insurance products, though most of the work would be with health products.

Qualifications include:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economic, or similar
• Currently in sophomore or junior year
• Proficiency with Excel and experience with MS Access, SAS, or other database tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Initiative and desire for new challenges
• Desire for professional growth
• Intellectual curiosity
• Past success with Society of Actuaries exams is a plus, but not required
