Job Summary: Actuarial student.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Acquire, aggregate, and develop data for use in experience studies through the use of data analytics tools.
- Maintain and run models for use in profit testing, reserving, calculation of economic capital, and forecasting
- Implementation and maintenance of Model Governance framework. Improving model-related processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide preliminary analysis and evaluation of model sensitivity results. Validate, format and present results in an appropriate manner for senior actuary review.
- Perform coding changes to software that meet prescribed standards, assist in the regression and UAT testing of software coding changes, and complete documentation.
- Support of ad hoc projects.
- Demonstrate sufficient progress and maintain good standing in actuarial student program
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- 1 - 5 years of Life insurance/reinsurance actuarial experience
- Minimum pass of 2 SOA exams
- Excellent data-manipulation skills
- Strong time management and project management skills
- Ability to execute on multiple priorities simultaneously
- Microsoft PC software: Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, VBA
- Minimum of two actuarial exams from the Society of Actuaries with the intent to be credentialed.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Risk Agility FM, MoSes, or other actuarial modelling software
- Expertise in data analytics programs, e.g. R, SQL, etc.
- Experience in coding, especially actuarial software

Total Compensation Range: $60,100 - $180,900 (inclusive of Base and Bonus). Compensation is commensurate with number of exams passed.
