Atlantic University is seeking candidates for Activity Director.
The Activity Director serves full-time capacity and reports to the Project Director. The Activity Director will be responsible for:
- Manage all aspects of the Activity;
- Manage and monitor the Activity budget;
- Prepare monthly budget summaries for the Project Director;
- Ensure successful and timely completion of the activity’s implementation strategies and approved objectives (including research objectives);
- Recruit, screen, select, train, and supervise Activity staff;
- Ensure that required evaluation data is gathered;
- Provide leadership to activity personnel to analyze and interpret evaluation data and make recommendations based on them;
- Maintain records of all aspects of the activity;
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and institutional regulations;
- Provide input for formative and summative reports regarding the activity as prescribed in the evaluation plan;
- Assisting with the institutionalization of the Activity into the University programs.
Qualifications:
- At least a master’s degree; a doctorate is preferred;
- At least five (5) years of experience in education working with Hispanic college students,
- Knowledge of current learning theories, particularly relevant to first-generation students.
