Are you majoring in , Healthcare Management Therapeutic Recreation, Occupational Therapy, or a related field? Friendship Village is looking for an individual to work closely with the Life Enrichment Coordinator to create fun and engaging activities for our Independent Living residents and staff. As an Activities Intern you will gain experience in developing, planning, implementing, and facilitating new and different activity, events, and outing for residents and employees. Our goal is to provide psychosocially, physically, and spiritually fulfilling activities that build friendships and a sense of community for every individual at Friendship Village.

Additional Requirements:

• Knowledge of event planning practices
• Public speaking experience
• Willingness to work with older adults
• Required as needed: Some weekend, evening, and holiday availability
• Proficient computer skills
